Laurie, inspiration for the wooden camel
Our first client picture came in 1985 from Laurie and his wife who live in Golden, BC.Laurie wrote "My wonderful wife is on the camel minus her Tilley Hat as the Egyptian camel owner took it off and wrapped his kaffiyeh on her head for the photo."
Being our very first client picture, it became the spark igniting the Egyptian store theme.
Obviously, we needed a mascot so John got his tools out and our camel was born. At Christmas time he gains antlers & a red nose.
