Granville Street Store
October 1994 saw another move (hopefully the last) around the corner to a new 4000 sq ft space. Alex and several of the Tilley headquarters staff came out to help us celebrate the grand opening with the "dropping of the hat". The location is splendid, centrally located between clients on the North Shore and others in White Rock and Abbotsford, plus easy for visiting Tourists to find. We have lots of space for storage and display, plus a small parking lot behind the store.
The Camel came with us, though he has since morphed into a wall display. You'll see him mounted on one side of the pillar, his tail mounted on the other side.
The 2-meter high Pharoah and Bastet the Cat, sculptured by our own John T., are much admired; he has had a couple of offers to sell, but not nearly high enough. He's not allowed to sell the Cat anyway - it's my favourite!
You can see the Cat in the Honourable Rogues Gallery standing beside Shell Busey.
