"Cruising down the waterways in the Mekong Delta, visiting Angkor Wat, walking marked paths cleared of mines in Plain of Jars, Laos, and trekking northern Vietnam where it was so cold that I had to put on almost every piece of clothing I owned.

Brian is crossing a bridge in Laos. In the distance the local high school kids are washing their clothes in the river and having a swim. The local villagers are driving their tractor across the river (in low water typical of February) rather than pay the toll to cross the bridge.

Accompanied by our guide we say goodbye to our hosts outside their home in northern Vietnam. We did a 2 day trek through the villages near Sapa and stayed overnight with this family."
