FYI, my brother Bob and his wife were recently in the Moscow subway (don't ask me why!) when he felt a hand in his pocket.
It was apparently one of a gang of 2-3 pickpockets.
Bob told me that empty hand paid for all the Tilley clothes he had ever bought."
Editor's note: It's rumoured that Tilley's have a secret pocket to foil pickpockets.
