Here is the story about my Tilley hat.
After my wife passed away I decided to start dating at the tender age of 54.
I used the internet to find possible gals that might be willing to put up with an old geezer. As luck would have it, a lovely young gal, Marianne, saw my ad on the website and after a few emails, she called to meet with me.
We arranged coffee at the Coombs market on Vancouver Island. I told her I would be wearing my Tilley hat.
We got together for coffee then she asked me to go for a walk on the beach. We ended up with a first date that lasted 5 hours! I was totally head over heels about this wonderful gal.
I am sure she was taken by my Tilley hat!!!
