Kim & Katherine, Grand Canyon
I was reading the Vancouver Sun and saw a picture of the Grand Canyon and the overnight mule trek down to Phantom Ranch, and thought I'd send you a couple of photos of our trip.
Those mules, you gotta love em. Takes 5 to 6 years of training before they ever put a tourist on their backs.
They're surefooted and as long as they can see over the edge they're not suicidal. And they make really wide turns going around the cliff faces giving you excellent views 500 feet down.
