Maureen in India
"I was in Pachewar, Rajasthan in November, 2009 and so was my Tilley Hat.The local girls wanted a picture with the "lady with the hat"!
All pictures I took of the villagers were sent back to the villagers, along with this one.
The photos are
- a married woman (arm rings) and ankle ring, Chandelao
- village children in Chandelao, Rajasthan
- a very interesting lady. The Indian Government pays villagers to grow poppies for opium and this photo is the headman's wife in the "opium" village (lady in red with gold nose ring).
