"My daughter Darci has the oldest Tilley Hat in our family. I bought it for myself sometime in the last century and she took a liking to it.

Rather than bequeath it to her, I gave her my Green Tilley for Christmas. She was very pleased.

Darci has since had hers to Thailand, Hong Kong and New Zealand. Ours have merely continued to serve by protecting us in the wilds of British Columbia.

There's a tagline there somewhere 'Near or far, Tilley's the star'. Oh dear, I think I'd better go do something, anything."
